So often what we know is very different from what we do. At Living Primal, our focus is on helping people to bridge that critical gap by taking full responsibility for their actions and cultivating good daily health habits they can sustain over the long term.
All of our products and services have been carefully designed around our belief that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We "teach people to fish" and make informed decisions regarding their own health, rather than trying to fix them once they're ill.
Looking To The Past to Guide Our Future
Our physiology was shaped a long time ago, under very different circumstances from today. What used to be scarce -- food, sugar, chronic stress -- is now dangerously abundant. And what used to be abundant -- leisure time, sunshine, sleep -- is now scarce. When considered all together, our modern food and lifestyles choices are wreaking incredible havoc on our health.
Our nutrition recommendations resemble a Primal- or Paleo- style diet. Not because we want to turn you into hunter-gatherers, but because the whole foods our Paleolithic ancestors consumed happen to be the healthiest ones for us.
